Our Home Health Aide Services

Signal Home Health and Hospice’s health aide services use trained caregivers to provide any extra support a patient needs to remain at home. The scope of home care provided by our aides varies widely and can be used for those aging at home, recovering short term from a hospitalization, recovering long term from an illness, or caregivers needing respite care.

Our services will meet you where you need to be and can include assistance with medication reminders, light housekeeping, walking assistance, companionship, dressing, bathing assistance and more.

Signal provides a free, in home consultation. At this appointment, our nurse will do an assessment and make suggestions based on the goals of the client and the family. Then, an individualized care plan will be created and shared with everyone involved.

Some services that might be recommended include:

  • Personal care services
  • Respite care
  • Companionship
  • Medication reminders
  • Rehabilitation
  • Dementia care

Home care can be a short or long term solution based on the needs of the individual. We are flexible and will work towards your expectations.

Who Might Benefit from Home Health Aide Services?

Individuals that are finding once-independent activities more difficult would likely benefit from having a home health aide. The elderly, disabled, or someone that recently underwent a significant procedure or surgery might find they need additional support in the home.

Some of the activities a home health aide would help with might include:

  • Getting to the bathroom
  • Preparing food
  • Dressing and Bathing
  • Walking throughout the home safely
  • Remembering to take important medications

Our care plans cater to the individual and can be short or long term based on the situation.
